Privacy, in plain words
Nightsboard is not launched yet. This page says what we collect today, what we will collect at launch, and what we do with it. Nightsboard is run by Austin Hatfield in Florida, USA. Questions go to hello@nightsboard.com.
What we collect now
- Waitlist. Your email address and the optional answers on the form (how you travel, home airport, main airline and hotel brand), plus where you came from (for example a campaign tag). We use this to send your waitlist and invite emails and to decide what to build first. Product news only goes out if you tick the box.
- Payments. If you buy a founding seat, Stripe processes the payment and is the merchant of record. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We see the basics Stripe shares with sellers, such as your name, email and whether the payment went through.
What we will collect at launch
Nightsboard works when you forward your flight and hotel booking emails and loyalty statement emails. We use those emails only to count your nights by place and reason and to show your status progress. We never sell them or the data in them, and we do not use them for advertising.
We never ask for your airline or hotel loyalty passwords.
Who else sees your data
Only the services we need to run Nightsboard, such as our hosting provider, our email provider and Stripe for payments. They handle data on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.
Ads and measurement
This site logs simple visit events (page view, checkout click, waitlist signup, purchase) with the ad campaign tags in the link you clicked, so we can tell which ads work. We also use the Reddit Pixel, which lets Reddit measure visits and signups from our Reddit ads. Reddit handles that data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your Reddit account settings.
Deleting your data
Email hello@nightsboard.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your data. We will delete it and confirm. Stripe may keep payment records it is legally required to keep.
Changes
We will update this page as the product changes, and change the date at the top when we do.
